Parking Lot

I slowly walked into the small parking lot. People wondered why I didn't have a car. Who care's what they think. I am richer then they will ever be. I thought to myself with a sneer.

I ran my hand quickly over my head, my fingers combing through my hair and spraying it out into the air. A few guys gave me some questionable looks.

I walked through the parking lot, on my way to a tree just outside of it. The world was all orange at the moment, since I had chosen to wear my goggles today. They were getting a lot of stares, but I couldn't care less. I sat my backpack by the tree and sat down, waiting for the bell to ring for class.

I jerked my head to the side, popping my neck. I sighed, sitting down on a bench only occupied by a couple flirting with each other. The girl sent me a glare when the guy half smiled at me. I rolled my eyes, looking away.

I pulled out my sketch pad from my backpack. Then I went on the hunt for my charcoal pencil. Once I found it, I started to draw the first thing that came to mind. Soon I was completely submerged in my own world, paying no attention to the world around me.

I glanced at a girl drawing by a tree. She was wearing some funny goggles. What some people were, nowadays. I thought to myself. The goggles werent bad though. I thought there were pretty cool.

I pushed my goggles up to see better, since I was adding some very intricate detail to the drawing at the moment. That was a bad idea, I thought as the world brighten dramatically.

I sighed again a looked away, scooting farther away from the couple. I looked around at the student body. I ran my hand through my hair again, board out of my mind. I grabbed my backpack and pulled a book out.

Slowly, my eyes adjusted to the new brightness and I continued drawing. I wasn't even sure what it was of yet, but that how I liked drawing, because sometimes it's fun for even the artist to be surprised.

I flipped open to the page I had booked marked. I was currently reading Kiss Me Kill Me by what ever author wrote it. I didn't feel like checking.

I finished my drawing. When I took in what it was of, I blinked to myself in surprise.

I looked around again as the bell rang. I closed my book, getting ready for math class. Great. Math. I thought. Just what I need.

I heard the bell ring, but I was still too taken aback my my drawing to pay it any attention. I couldn't believe I had just pulled that from my mind in roughly twenty minutes.

(Dane) We screamed into the parking lot making a dramatic skid in the process and i could smell burning rubber. Lyra launched into an empty space and the car jolted into abrupt standstill. The whole lawn was staring at us as I shook my head. I think the only way we would have attracted any more attention was if she had actually hit something. Lyra was smiling insanely at the staring crowd as if she had performed an amazing feat.

"Come on lets get out of here." I told her irritated; I hadn't fed in a while and that always made me moody.

Alex pulled into the parking lot, her head craned around the head rest, to see if her twin sister Skyler was behind her. They had made it a race to get to school, Alex's behemuth yellow Range Rover compred to Skyler's tiny dark green Mustang. She laughed as she swung her head around and quickly pulled into a spot, rolling down her window as her sister drove past her. She yelled to her, ignoring the closed window. "I win Sky!"

Skyler pulled into the parking lot a few minutes after her sister. Driving past her she heard her yell and only smiled while shaking her head. Her car roared as she drove around the parking lot it even turned a few heads. She came back around and parked next to her sisters Range Rover. Shutting her car off she grabbed her bleeding heart skull tote bag and got out of her car. She clicked the lock button on her key ring she walked around to the open window of her sisters car. She placed her elbows on the open window and smiled. “Yea yea whatever. I can smoke your giant boat any day.” she said.

(dane) I stood by my sisters door as she slowly got out of the car.

"Do you have to take all day?" I asked in French, I always spoke my native tongue when I was annoyed.

"I'll take as much time as I want." She playfully punched me in the arm. I rolled my eyes as I closed her door. She could be infuriating sometimes.
